It’s that time of the year that Rotary Club of Elstree & BorehamWood organises The Annual Schools Art Show - a legacy by David Clout, Paul Welsh and the late Steve Elmer who started it in 1998 at the old Village Church Hall (know 96 where we continue to hold this exhibit.

Mayor of Hertsmere Cllr Alan Plancey opened the exhibition which was also attended by Rotarians, Councillors, Teachers, School Governors, Museum Volunteers and local residents.

Hundreds of primary school children who worked hard in preparing for the exhibition will be pleased to see their amazing work on display. And as guests commented today, the standard of art exhibit is getting higher and higher every year.

Well done to St Nicholas CoE School, Woodlands Primary School, Shenley Primary School, Cowley Hill School, Parkside Community Primary School, Kenilworth Primary School, Meryfield Primary School, St Teresa’s Catholic Primary School.

The exhibition runs for four days until 23 June 2019.

It takes a big community to run this exhibition.

The Rotarians’ appreciation goes to Hertsmere Borough Council, BorehamWood Borough Councillors Farida Turner, Alan Plancey, Morris Bright, Harvey Cohen, Meenal Sachdev, Cynthia Barker, Susan Brown, Glenn Briski; Hertfordshire County Council, County Councillor Caroline Clapper, the Volunteers, Elstree and Borehamwood Town Council in line with the Town Festival 2019.
