\"\"The long-standing East Stand has now been refurbished, reformed and renamed \u2018The Memorial Stand\u2019, a heartfelt community initiative inspired by our new main sponsors, Mangata Developments which the Club are extremely proud of.<\/strong><\/p>\n

This initiative gives our supporters and ex-pats around the world a special place to quietly acknowledge their loved ones \u2013 people who cherished this football club and stood by us across the decades, since our formation way back in 1948.<\/p>\n

The Memorial Stand is our own dedicated space \u2013 a place where families and supporters can celebrate the memory of their departed loved ones. Though no longer with us in body, they are always with us in spirit \u2013 forever woven into our Club\u2019s past, present and future journey.<\/p>\n

There is still plenty of opportunity for you to remember your loved ones in this way. By purchasing a personalised memorial plaque in one or more of designs above, your tribute will be permanently displayed on the Memorial Stand, creating a lasting legacy and ensuring your loved one\u2019s connection to Boreham Wood Football Club endures for generations to come.<\/p>\n

Each high-quality plaque will include your custom message \u2013 a personal tribute that will stand proudly within our ground, symbolising the passion, loyalty and memories that bind us all together as Wood Army.<\/p>\n

Club Chairman Danny Hunter commented on the Memorial Stand initiative, saying:<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ve spoken to my family and friends recently about the idea and they all agreed \u2018The Memorial Stand\u2019 would mean a great deal to so many local people both past and present who will forever be connected to Boreham Wood Football Club, that includes my late Mother and Father. As such I\u2019m incredibly grateful to Mangata Developments for developing this idea and sponsoring \u2018The Memorial Stand\u2019 with such a poignant and heartfelt initiative\u201d.<\/p>\n
