During his stay in WD6, Herrick will wear the number 22.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Herrick has been with the Hammers since the age of six, rising through the ranks at Chadwell Heath before signing his first professional contract ahead of the 2023\/24 campaign. A standout performer for West Ham\u2019s academy sides, he was a key figure in their hugely successful 2022\/23 season, keeping three clean sheets in eight appearances as Kevin Keen\u2019s under-18s secured both the FA Youth Cup and the U18 Premier League South title.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-25007\" src=\"http:\/\/www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_2036.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1440\" height=\"810\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_2036.jpg 1440w, https:\/\/www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_2036-300x169.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_2036-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_2036-768x432.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/IMG_2036-125x70.jpg 125w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1440px) 100vw, 1440px\" \/>The talented shot-stopper continued his progression in 2023\/24, making 23 appearances for the West Ham U18s and earning further international recognition with England, representing the Young Lions at U18 level against France and Germany. In the 2024\/25 campaign, his first full season with West Ham\u2019s U21s, Herrick was the only goalkeeper nominated for Premier League 2 Player of the Season, recording the most clean sheets in the division with seven. Herrick has also earnt five England U19 caps, keeping two clean sheets in UEFA European qualifiers.<\/p>\n<p>A commanding and highly rated young goalkeeper, Herrick adds further quality, depth and presence between the sticks for Luke Garrard\u2019s side.
